Ok thanks for reading this. I will try to be exact. I was on my computer and it was running very slowly then just locked up trying to use yahoo email just left it for about 5 mins then just reset the computer by holding power switch for 5 secs...reboot then got a system check screen had errors for sys32/hal.dll and sys32/dllcache/sqlunirl.dll....this got fixed during the system check, but was unable to load XP the computer would then reboot automatically trying to load XP. I ended up using my system recovery disc which i have used before with no problems. Anyways it took about 3 good loads of this to finally get into XP...went thur the normal set ups for email/internet connection, but when i tryed to look at my inbox or sent mail i had the welcome message and all email had been removed. I tryed a search for .dbx files or inbox and only able to see the ones that it was now currently using yes i every tryed hidden files too. I am unable to restore any of my emails please help. i am using Norton.
Thanks
Tom
