I have identified that the computer has Darksma virus. I read the instructions on this forum to do before the HijackThis part, but Adaware will not run - I tried to re-intall but it will not get updates. When I open, it says Application Has To Close, Sorry for the inconvenience. I tried to re-install/repair Ad-Aware but that did not help either. Can I move on the the next step (SpyBot)?

Yes, you may. Complete as many steps as possible, and then post a HJT log in accordance with the guide.

Well done. Since you have an open HJT log, this thread is now closed.
