Hi Guys!

This website is a great idea - cheers for the service!

I have very suddenly reached the limit on my hard drive & whilst looking through my add/remove programs list I have come across a file called: Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (SONY_MEDIAMGR).

I am running a copy of Sony Acid Pro 5 - could it be part of this program? I dont want to delete it if it is essential but it says that I only use it rarely! Am a little confused .....!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yiaggi :-D

Hello Yiaggi and welcome to BC

The entries in add/remove programs can be misleading sometimes. I remember using a development tool frequently a while ago, yet add/remove said I used it rarely.

The SQL server may be used in the Sony program in some way or another. I would leave it to be on the safe side.
Regards,

Alan.
