I have a TRENDnet TK-209K KVM switch and most of the time it works fine. Occasionally I experience this problem (like right now) where I cannot plug the keyboard and mouse into the switcher because they wont work. If I switch computers manually, it works fine but I get this error message saying USB device Not Recognized but the audio and video will still switch over... so I can switch computers I just need a separate keyboard and mouse... does anyone know what to do?

To put it in easier terms my KVM switch won't work with the keyboard or mouse but will with audio and video. How can I fix this?

I have Windows XP Pro SP3 on both machines. Both are 3.0GHz Hyperthreading but one has 2GB Ram and the other has 1GB Ram. Like I said, this goes in and out... but there doesn't seem to be a driver for the device.

Any adapters or gender changers on any of the cables? KVM switches are funny about those

No adapters that I can recall... it was a while back but there are none through the keybord and mouse ports for sure, and I'm fairly certain there aren't any at all.
