When I turned on my computer, I clicked on my name and typed my password but nothing showed up. I tried to re-connect the keyboard, ( I have a logitech Y-RK49 keyboard[wireless] and a wireless Logitech M-RR67A mouse) which did not work, so I tried going in to safe mode to see whatever that could do, i got into safe mode by pressing f8 (which i thought did not work), and then i used the arrows, they worked, and so did the "sleep" button. I went back to the start screen and the letters and numbers would not work still. Is there anything I can do to get the letters and numbers, and alt, ctrl, caps lock, tab, space etc. buttons to work?

First and most obvious is to change the batteries. did you or someone else spill something on the keyboard? are any of the keys sticking(repeating)?

I got shut down my computer, went to eat, and when i got back the batteries were dead, and when I replaced them nothing changed. I don't think anything spilled on it, and none of the keys ever stuck

I just gotta ask, did you observe the proper polarity when you replaced the batteries?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
