I had a trojan virus recently which my Kaspersky did not catch. Start menu disappeared and can only boot in safe mode. Have run malware so my machine is clean now but still cannot boot in normal mode. I do not have XP CD-ROM to initiate system recovery and system restore does not do anything. Also can not access anything that uses Java for some reason.
