ok heres the thing. i guess the problem first started when i tried to install something. the installer wouldent work. it took me a while but eventuly i managed to get it working. after that its been one thing after another, the biggest thing being the IE 8.
it still currently dosnt work, you click it, it flashes on the screen then is gone. i'm stuck using google chrome for the time being. on top of that little things have been disapering. mainly in the "system32" folder. things like the calculator, sound recorder, the program that runs rich text docs (and holly crap while i was writhing this i just noticed PAINT! is gone) and some driver that it keeps giving me an error message on start up which i wont down but cant seem to find. i have no idea what is happening but my best guess is a virus avg keeps telling me i have called "Trojan horse BackDoor.Generic10.ITN.
if i tell avg to move it to vault, it dose nothing, if i tell it to heal it, it says its NOT THERE.

please help me cause i'm relizeing more and more things keep disappearing.

Try a couple of these free, online scanners to see if anything has slipped by your AVG protection:
(Be advised that some of these scanners will pickup things in "quarantine" from other anti-virus programs - so review the results carefully)
