Good Morning,

We have a Dell XPS. We installed a wireless MS Mouse 5000. We then continued to get dsc.exe - application failed to initialize (0xc0000142) - click ok to continue. We could not successfully turn off or remove the error message dsc.exe. We removed the wireless mouse and software. We also removed the Dell Support Center program. The programs ran great for 2 days and then the error message appeared again. It appears to be in the start up programs.

How do I fix this error or remove dsc.exe from the start up program?

Kathy Powers
