Hello world!
I m having trouble getting some data onto my HDD6330 DAP (digital audio player). It has the 2.04 firmware on it. Now when i attempt to put anything on it that is not a filetype that it will play it wont allow me to transfer it. It gives me a msgbox with options skip, skip all, and cancel. Now is there any way to get passed to or rather hack this (quick and dirty)?

thanks for all the help

Only thing you can do is convert the audio file before transfer. Looking at the manual it's either .mp3 or .wma only.

Nono fin the online manual it says you can transfer data as in .exe and such onto the drive with explorer. But instead explorer tells me the player does not support the data type

I thought we were talking strictly audio files. Reading further .wav is also supported.

The manual does state data files but a .exe is not a data file, it's an executable.
Unfortunetly, the manual doesn't specify data file extension types supported.
Take one of those .exe's and zip it. See if it will accept a zip file.

No go however i found it to be possible in vista so there must be something with the drivers so i'm going to try and reinstall them or even get my dual boot running( since i have been to lazy to get to it) and try doing it from a linux os
