Can anyone point me in the right direction to recover data from a hard drive that was formatted by accident? I have used trial versions of certain software and know they are on the hard drive. I just need the software to recover it. I dont have too much money to spend so something not too expensive would be great. I greatly appreciate any help

Have a look at these suggestions

I just want to add, the less you do with the hard drive until you decide what action to take, the better. I wouldn't even turn it on until you attempt recovery

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
