I have installed and run Combofix as described by the on line instructions. The result is a Log.txt that i am supposed to post to a "helper". I do not know where to do this. Can someone please enlighten me?? I was not asked by anyone form the forum to run this program. It was suggested by a friend who is in IT. Are there any helpers out there that can decifer my log and tell me what needs to happen next??

ComboFix is an extremely powerful tool which should only be used when instructed to do so by someone who has been properly trained. ComboFix is intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for private use. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.

With that said, please follow this topic to prepare you to post a HJT log. At that time, the HJT team member may ask you for a ComboFix log.

Alternatively, you may create a new topic in the Am I Infected forum - without HJT or Combofix logs.
