I just installed free Avast Antivirus program on my Vista computer, but I cannot schedule a full scan on it, and I have to do it manually. I have had a tech go through the motions using the instructions for XP model computers, but I cannot find any info on scheduling a scan using Vista, can anyone help me with this problem.

Hi Kootenaygirl,

Unfortunately the free version does not have the option of auto scans. Here is a link that highlights the differences between the free and paid versions. Hope this helps.
