:thumbsup: all my icons changed to .lnk's. now i can't run any programs. HELP

You need to supply more information.

What version of Windows do you use?
Did you change, or install anything recently?
Is this your desktop icons, or all icons?

The more information you provide, the better.

Windows XP home version. I re-booted and this happened to all icons. the result is that you can not click on an ICON or run any executable.
