Meant as humour but with truth in it, as well. Gentle sigh.

Poppy, I wonder how you feel about things, if you don't mind my asking.
Never let your computer realize you are in a hurry or just typing the last few words of a vital document.

While outer events might make one happy or sad, happiness itself is entirely internal, and at all times completely within one's power.

Not at all Mara...

I'll say this short and sweet...

On 9-11-01 America was attacked by Bin Laden, he also was behind the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.

So who do we go after? Saddam Hussein of Iraq. Why? That's what I like to know.

I voted for George Bush both times, because he was stronger on the military than John Kerry.

Now were in a war, with no end in sight and no winners. ( another vietnam) which I was in.

I think your words, "Now we're in a war, with no end in sight and no winners" really does say it for so many - not just for many Americans but for those in other Countries too.

And I thank you for fighting in Vietnam, Poppy. I loathed the war itself and while I could be wrong, I saw it as a sacrificial slaughter of so so so many young soldiers who, while losing their lives, may have also felt there was "no winners" in that hell either.

And now, here we go again.
