 Hi all, greeting from just a little bit blustery Portland OR. I guess that means that autumn is upon us. I am a late middle-aged-wanna-be geek type. You know that old expression about leaving well enough alone? Well, I have never been very good at following that one. Seems like something in me isn't happy unless I am tweaking something. My latest adventure which may get me into trouble was caused by watch too many youtube videos on how to speed up your XP, the boot, the whatever. So I am play with msconfig and exploring services and startup programs.

The Youtube videos were quite entertaining, especially the ones which gave different instruction for the same "fix". Some were on the useless side, some got me curious, and some I had no idea what they were doing. So now I am off to do my exploring.

Happy adventures
