I was 'sent' here from the HiJack forum, by Rigel. Below is my original post.

I wonder if I am infected/hijacked or have some issue with Windows.

Here's the story....

When I open 'some' links from my IE6 browser, I get a heading 'about:blank' and a plain white screen. I first noticed this when I tried to open the track for hurricane Hanna and then again for hurricane Ike. I can open other links perfectly well. However, today, I tried to open the 'Celebrities' Photo Gallery and got the same 'about:blank' window.

Now here is a stranger event...if I right-click on the link and select the 'Open in a New Window' option, the link opens perfectly.

What do I have to do to clear up this problem?

Thanks.

I just checked again....most of the photo galleries on the browser give me the same 'picture'...'about:blank.

This is the 3rd time I have tried to post this reply.

I have deleted all the temp files, history and cookies. The HiJack guy tells me I am clean.

This only happens on certain browser links...right now the Photo Galeries, and the weather storm track.

I can get connected to these links if I select the link, right click and then 'open in new window.

What gives here?
