just found this site and am posting for the first time...

is there a way to turn off "reading layout" in outlook?

i know if you open a word document and go to tools you can turn it off but is there a way to turn it off so you don't have to do this every day?...i do not like to view word documents in the reading layout (attachments in outlook)...it's very annoying...

thanks in advance...

Try this. Open Word's Tools, Options, General tab and uncheck the option to start with the reading layout.
