A Windows Service Pack installation has just switched my wireless management from the old Windows Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) which it had always been to Intel ProSet's.

Does anyone have experience comparing these two in terms of performance or functionality?

One thing thats very noticeable with Intel's is that the alert bubble pops up a hell of a lot. I usually use a wired connection, so it's often popping up. WZC didn't pop up nearly as often.

Thanks for any help on this.

ps: wasn't sure which section of the forum to put this one in... since the WZC is part of Windows, guess it qualifies to be here

Wireless Zero Config has been known to drop connections.
