Hi teco and welcome to BC

Take a look at The Recycle Bin does NOT appear on your Windows XP desktop?. Hopefully that will help you out.

Open Notepad.
Where it says to "Copy/Paste the following to a RecycleBin.reg file:", copy that into Notepad.
Click File, at the top.
Click Save As...
Save it as RecycleBin.reg to your Desktop.
Go to your Desktop and double click it.
When it asks if you're sure you want to add this information to the Registry, click Yes.
Then reboot.

Copy and paste what was in that file in notepad that you made into here so we can see it.

And you saved that as RecycleBin.reg? You need to have the .reg on the end to make it work. If you did that, remove REGEDIT4 from the file and try it again.

If that doesn't work try the second solution.
