New forum user, located in the gargantuan state of Rhode Island.
Displaced Canadian, Disoriented Dad and Dispondant Data Architect.

Joined the forum when neighbour (note the correct spelling) presented me with her Dell Inspiron 600, saying "Is the "Virus Alert" message on the toolbar a bad thing?"
3 evenings; two dozen odd different viruses, trojan horses, malwares; 4 different cleanup utilities; uncounted reboots and rescans; and well, so much for being a nice guy.
Next time I'm going to just turn up the volume on Battlestar Galactica reruns ;-)

Great advice here, and haven't found an issue that wasn't already posted!

Hello dbrown0002000 and  to Bleeping Computer.

Be sure to check out the New User Orientation and the excellent Tutorials.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
