Well ive tryed to get rid of this in msconfig and it wont go.

Ive used this program: http://camtech2000.net/Pages/MsConfig_Cleanup_Utility.htm
And it does not find it.

Anyone help.

Do you want to uninstall Open Office or just not have it run at startup? Msconfig is just for troubleshooting purposes. To permanently keep a program from running at startup, download Codestuff Starter:

Ive downloaded it, but everything is greyed out, so i cant click anything.

I just want this taken off, my msconfig.

What exactly is greyed out? Are you doing this as Administrator?

Work through this & see if you can remove it that way:

Cleanup the MSCONFIG in Xp/\Vista

Since you are dealing with the registry, read first through the Backup link provided
. If you feel squeamish about messing with the registry, use the MSConfig Clean Up Utility listed under Related Pages.
