Trying to install bitdefender on my PC but I am getting the following error "Could not write value device to key "\.default\software\setid\internal. Verify you have sufficient access to that key". How can I solve this?

TIA

Hi .

I find no such registry key on my system...and a Google search yields nothing conclusive that I can interpret.

Perhaps someone can interpret this: http://www.threatexpert.com/report.aspx?ui...f2-d9d0a1413032

Try downloading the msi file again and right click on it and select run as and select Administrator.
