Kb936181 Update Issue

I keep on getting there are updates ready for kb936181 even though it is already installed on my computer.

I did what this link said to do http://www.lancelhoff.com/2008/08/23...tall-kb936181/

but I am still getting this same message. How can I stop this from happening?

Thanks for bringing ut up. I have EXACTLY the same problem! So I'm going to keep a keen watch on this post to see if there will be a solution.

I did find a solution at last via one of the links garmanma presented in his answer.

Did you try downloading KB941833 from this site?

It did the trick for me anyway. When it was installed I didn't get any more prompts and in the Microsoft Updates sites there were no updates any longer which were a priority. 1 1/2 day later it is still quiet on the update-front.
