This is for a friend, . . Please help.

At first I used Avast scanner and found trojans and adaware for a total of 16 but not all files were scanned. There were error messages like, " error in scanning" and another message.
The scanner was updated before it was used.

Lastnight, I downloaded Malwarebytes and found 3, but was not specified what kind. I scanned it again using a full scan and it was already clean.

I downloaded Adaware 2008 but I cannot make it run. I got a message" administrator will not allow to run on C: documents and settings" but this was a default so I don't know how to download it into Programs like the other downloads I did. It was automatically downloaded into Programs..

I hope this is helpful to you.
