I was just wondering what is meant by this error code?

"Sorry, the board administrator has enabled search flood control."

"Flood controls" are limits to specific actions where repeated high usage during peak user demand periods might dramatically slow down performance of a particular function or the entire board.
Suppose a library has only one dictionary for all of its patrons. If there are only one or two people needing to use it, there is not much of a problem, but if thirty or more all need to look up words at the same time, the librarian has to step in and impose a rule that each patron can only look up two words at a time.
Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.

Thats what i thought but its nice just to have it cleared up.

Suppose it explains itself as to why it mainly happens on the "view new posts" button.

Cheers jgweed.
