hi, i left my computer on and than when i got back it went into my log in screen when i logged up a window said that a serrious problem is with your system, it was error report, i went to the log/ error files and they were 2 files in my hard drive of DOC$%"/ and went on and on, and that DOC folder was not there i think its a malware infection or a bad rootkit

when i sent it, micrsoft said this:

"Corrupted error report

Unfortunately, the error report you submitted is corrupted and cannot be analyzed. Corrupted error reports are rare. They can be caused by hardware or software problems, and they usually indicate a serious problem with your computer."

Hello
Have you backed up your files?
Tried going back to an earlier date using system restore?
Done a malware scan? From safe mode/ if so what did it say?
Is thios an XP ,PC?
What Antivirus and spyware tools are installed?

Thanks
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
