ARG! When I click on an .avi file I get a data execution error. I took a snapshot of it. Anyone know what could be causing this? I've tried everything I could think of, system restore, virus scans, malware scans, registry scans and nothing works.

What program is used to open .AVI files? This program may be corrupted.

I tried both VLC and Real Player. I'm also having trouble playing discs in my drives (I have 2 of them, one internal, one external). They just run and nothing happens.

Another weird thing (I mentioned this in another thread), when windows starts up and finishes loading, I get a "resource library not found" error.

This is a stupid question, but how do I do that? Do I go into msconfig?
