Ok this is driving me nuts. When my computer finishes loading, I get a "resource library not found" error. I've tried system restore, file scavenger, and windows search. I don't know what this is.

I don't know. Could it possibly be some kind of missing .dll media file? I'm getting a data execution error message when I open an .avi file too.

Darn it, I thought I uploaded the images. Ok, let me try this again:

So far its happened while trying to play discs. I tried 2 different DVD drives and still have the same problem, and when I play any .avi file. It does not matter which player I use, I still get the message. I have both Real Player and VLC

It is turned on. There are only 3 files on it:

Generic Host Process for Win32 Services

ICB2000.exe

Windows Explorer

They are all unchecked.

Try turning it off, and see what happens.

Just curious...have you done a malware scan or series of scans?

Yes. I did a spyware scan with my AV program and a malware with malware bytes. Nothing was found.

I'd take a look at the errors in Event Viewer and hope for clues.

Try a free, independent scan to make sure that something hasn't disabled your installed protection. Here's some links:
(Be advised that some of these scanners will pickup things in "quarantine" from other anti-virus programs - so review the results carefully)
