Xp Hibernating Problem And Need Dvd Driver

hello all......i recently upgraded my laptop with XP professional from 1 GB of RAM to 3 GB of RAM. Ever since i did that my computer has not been able to go into hibernation. I went and installed the patch to fix it from microsoft's site and that didnt work. So i would now like to know what to do.



Also, i did a system recovery using my disc....and now for some reason i dont have my DVD driver......i have a Toshiba Tecra A7 and i cant find hte driver anywhere online. Can anyone send me a link to download the driver...thanks.

i appreciate any help i get.

Don't know about the hibernation issue, but for the DVD driver have you checked Toshiba's site?

i checked toshiba's site and i didnt find it...unless i looked in hte wrong place :thumbsup:

You say you have a Toshiba Tecra A7 Series laptop. What is the exact model?
If you follow this link you will see all the drivers for the A7-612

The drivers for other models in the A7 series are on the site as well.
