I have a folder on my Vista desktop that is named "New Folder (37)" that I did not put there, and neither did anyone else in my family. I deleted the folder and the next time I started the computer, it was there again. Inside this folder is a BUNCH of empty folders randomly numbered. Probably about 20 or 30 empty folders.

It doesn't seem to be causing a problem, but I was wondering if anyone else had a similar situation. Seems very strange. I've had this machine for several weeks and it seems to be running good.

Thanks

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

Ran malwarebytes, adaware, avir, and spybot and nothing showed up. They all say system is clean. I deleted the "New folder (37)" again and it came back again.
