Ad-aware, would this be considered a good piece of software?
There is a section in the program that can do "real time checking" is it recommended to let itrun? Is it hog on resources???
Is there anything I should know about this free scanner & software?

Well...if it's the free version of the program it will probably show something that it is available only to the Plus and Pro versions.

Although it has a new look, Ad-aware 2008 does not seem to offer much in major improvements with its scanning. The newer version is much larger in size (18,694 KB) because in includes additional enhancements available only if you choose to purchase them. This is not very helpful to those who only want to use the free features. Further, it does not support Win 98SE like the old version so if you have an older machine you can't use it.

OK, I appreciate the feed back
I going to stick with what I have
Malwarebytes Anti-malware SptwareBlaster, and Defender.
I think that should cover that part of the malware problem---yes?
I am running McAfee from Comcast----yes I know, but I have had pretty good luck with it.
And I got BOclean
