I ditched Commodo Firewall with the hope of speeding up my computer. I turned the Windows XP firewall back on and the Windows Security Centre says that I have two firewalls running. I ditched Norton over a year ago. How could its firewall still be running? How can I check to see what two firewalls are running? Thanks.

Try running the Norton Removal Tool.

Can't use the Norton Removal Key. I removed Norton some time ago. To use the NRK I have to start Norton. I think the Norton Firewall got left on the computer after everything else was removed or at least the Windows security center thinks so!

You don't have to start Norton in order to run the Norton Removal Tool.
