Hello Nevermind and welcome to the BC forums. After reviewing your log I see a few items that require our attention. Please proceed with the following steps in order.

Step #1

Start HijackThis and follow these steps:
  • Click on Config button
  • Click on the Misc Tools button
  • Click on the Open Process Manager button
Find the following items and click on each one to select it and then click on the Kill Process button to stop the process.:C:\WINDOWS\shch.exe
C:\WINDOWS\restun.exe
C:\WINDOWS\csrss.exe

Step #2

Now click the Back button and then click the Scan button to perform a scan. Look for the following items and click in the checkbox in front of each item to select it:O2 - BHO: CDllBho Object - {5A5B6916-ED71-4531-8018-E792DD44156E} - C:\WINDOWS\hgfhf.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {8E13DDE1-E013-47ec-9C4C-27C2F78BDD26} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\req.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {A78860C8-EE1A-46DF-A97F-E3E6D433E80B} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\36ng.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [resagnt] C:\WINDOWS\restun.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [o3h2z.exe] C:\WINDOWS\System32\o3h2z.exe /k
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [System] C:\WINDOWS\csrss.exe
O16 - DPF: {30CE93AE-4987-483C-9ABE-F2BD5301AB70} - http://64.158.165.49/output/100039/uk/dbgames/dbaccess.exe
O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/2386766a95d06c...ip/RdxIE601.cab
O20 - Winlogon Notify: f3dsl - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\lsd_f3.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: req - C:\WINDOWS\System32\req.dll

Now close ALL open windows except HijackThis and click the Fix Checked button to finish the repair.

Step #3

We need to make sure all hidden files are showing so please:
  • Click Start.
  • Open My Computer.
  • Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
  • Select the View tab.
  • Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
  • Uncheck the Hide file extensions for known types option.
  • Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
  • Click Yes to confirm.
  • Click OK.
Find the following files/folders and delete them (don't worry if they are already gone):C:\WINDOWS\hgfhf.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\req.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\36ng.dll
C:\WINDOWS\restun.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\o3h2z.exe
C:\WINDOWS\csrss.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\lsd_f3.dll

Note: If you receive any error messages while trying to delete any of the above files/folders then reboot into Safe Mode and try to delete them again. See the instructions below on how to boot into Safe Mode.

If needed, start in Safe Mode Using the F8 method:
  • Restart the computer in Safe Mode.
  • As soon as BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until the Advanced Options menu appears.
  • Use the arrow keys to select the Safe Mode menu item.
  • Press the Enter key.
If you rebooted into Safe Mode reboot normally now.

Step #4

Download CleanUp! and install it. Start CleanUp! and click on the CleanUp! button. Let it run to completion. It may take a few minutes depending on the size of your hard drive so be patient.

[color="orange"]Step #5

OK. Reboot your computer normally, start HijackThis and perform a new scan. Use the [b]Add Reply
button to post your new log file back here along with details of any problems you encountered performing the above steps and I will review it when it comes in.

OT
I do not respond to PM's requesting help. That's what the forums are here for. Please use them so that others may benefit from your questions and the responses you receive.

Hi Nevermind. Looking somewhat better. We still have a couple of entires to take care of so please print these directions and then do the following.

Step #1

Download the Pocket Killbox.

Unzip the contents of KillBox.zip to a convenient location and then double-click on KillBox.exe to launch the program.
  • Click on Delete on Reboot.
  • Paste the line below into the top Full Path of File to Delete field.
    • C:\WINDOWS\System32\req.dll
  • Click the Delete File button which looks like a stop sign.
  • Click No at the Pending Operations prompt.
Repeat the above steps for each of the following lines. The only difference is that you will be substituting the file listed in the first step with each of the files below. C:\WINDOWS\System32\req.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\req.dat
C:\WINDOWS\shch.exe

If you get any error messages concerning File not found write down the name and let me know which one in your next post. After you add the last file and it prompts to reboot, you should press the Yes button to allow it to do so. If you get a "PendingFileRenameOperations Registry Data has been Removed by External Process!" message then just restart manually.

Step #2

Start HijackThis and click the Scan button to perform a scan. Look for the following items and click in the checkbox in front of each item to select it:O2 - BHO: (no name) - {8E13DDE1-E013-47ec-9C4C-27C2F78BDD26} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\req.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SheduIer] C:\WINDOWS\shch.exe /i
O20 - Winlogon Notify: req - C:\WINDOWS\System32\req.dll

Now close ALL open windows except HijackThis and click the Fix Checked button to finish the repair.

Step #3

We need to make sure all hidden files are showing so please:
  • Click Start.
  • Open My Computer.
  • Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
  • Select the View tab.
  • Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
  • Uncheck the Hide file extensions for known types option.
  • Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
  • Click Yes to confirm.
  • Click OK.
Verify that the following files/folders are gone and delete them if they are notC:\WINDOWS\System32\req.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\req.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\req.dat
C:\WINDOWS\shch.exe

Note: If you receive any error messages while trying to delete any of the above files/folders then reboot into Safe Mode and try to delete them again. See the instructions below on how to boot into Safe Mode.

If needed, start in Safe Mode Using the F8 method:
  • Restart the computer in Safe Mode.
  • As soon as BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until the Advanced Options menu appears.
  • Use the arrow keys to select the Safe Mode menu item.
  • Press the Enter key.
If you rebooted into Safe Mode reboot normally now.

Step #4

Start CleanUp! and click on the CleanUp! button. Let it run to completion. It may take a few minutes depending on the size of your hard drive so be patient.

Step #5

OK. Reboot your computer normally, start HijackThis and perform a new scan. Use the Add Reply button to post your new log file back here along with details of any problems you encountered performing the above steps and I will review it when it comes in.

OT
I do not respond to PM's requesting help. That's what the forums are here for. Please use them so that others may benefit from your questions and the responses you receive.

Hi Nevermind. Well your dialer was gone but now it is back. Please print these directions and then let's remove it again.

Step #1

Start Spybot Search & Destroy and click the Search for Updates button to see if any updates are available. If so, install all available updates. Close Spybot.

Step #2

Start in Safe Mode Using the F8 method:
  • Restart the computer.
  • As soon as the BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until the boot menu appears.
  • Use the arrow keys to select the Safe Mode menu item.
  • Press the Enter key.
Do all of the follwoing steps in Safe Mode until instructed to reboot normally.

  • Click OK.
Step #4

Start HijackThis and click the Scan button to perform a scan. Look for the following items and click in the checkbox in front of each item to select it:R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.pureseeker.com
O2 - BHO: CDllBho Object - {5A5B6916-ED71-4531-8018-E792DD44156E} - C:\WINDOWS\svchost2.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [resagnt] C:\WINDOWS\restun.exe

Now close ALL open windows except HijackThis and click the Fix Checked button to finish the repair.

Step #5

Find the following files/folders and delete them (don't worry if they are already gone):C:\WINDOWS\svchost2.dll
C:\WINDOWS\restun.exe

Step #6

Start CleanUp! and click on the CleanUp! button. Let it run to completion. It may take a few minutes depending on the size of your hard drive so be patient.

Step #7

Start Spybot Search & Destroy and run a system scan. Fix anything it found with a red X.

Step #8

Hey Nevermind. Now that log is clean. Good job! How are things running? Any more problems?

I do not see either an anti-virus or a firewall installed on this machine. I strongly encourage you to install each to help protect your computer while on the internet and when receiving email. These are the first line of defence for preventing infections. See my suggestions below for free versions of each.

We have a couple of last steps to perform and then you're all set.

First, let's reset your hidden/system files and folders. System files are hidden for a reason and we don't want to have them openly available and susceptible to accidental deletion.* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading UNSELECT Show hidden files and folders.
* CHECK the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.
Next, let's clean your restore points and set a new one:

Reset and Re-enable your System Restore to remove infected files that have been backed up by Windows. The files in System Restore are protected to prevent any programs from changing those files. This is the only way to clean these files: (You will lose all previous restore points which are likely to be infected)1. Turn off System Restore. On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
2. Restart your computer.

3. Turn ON System Restore. On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
[/list]System Restore will now be active again.

Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programs:
  • SpywareBlaster to help prevent spyware from installing in the first place.
  • SpywareGuard to catch and block spyware before it can execute.
  • IESpy-Ad to block access to malicious websites so you cannot be redirected to them from an infected site or email.
You should also have a good firewall. Here are 3 free ones available for personal use:and a good antivirus (these are also free for personal use):It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated.

To keep your operating system up to date visit monthly. And to keep your system clean run these free malware scanners
weekly, and be aware of what emails you open and websites you visit.

To learn more about how to protect yourself while on the internet read this article by Tony Klien: So how did I get infected in the first place?

Have a safe and happy computing day!
