Yesterday my connection was fine, and then it just stopped working.
I am currently able to connect when I plug directly into the cable modem.
When I plug into the router, I am able to get an IP address and successfully do an IPconfig /release/renew. But when I go to the internet or try to ping a site, it just times out.
It is a LYNSYS wireless G router, and I have the updated Firmware isntalled.
I have a feeling there is something basic that I am missing.
I even went into the router homepage and released and renewed the DCHP and that worked too.
If anyone can give me a suggestion I would really appreciate it.

I finally fixed this.
I had to restore the default setting on my router, then do a complete power cycle and now I am back online.
