Before this problem occured I have been using my computer speakers that come with the desktop and computer not outside speakers.(these speakers are built inside the desktop) they worked perfectly before, But recently I have been using my earphones/earbuds and plugged them in the computer using those just not to disturb anyone else in my family. They work perfectly too. Now, whenever I unplug my earphones/earbuds and play something, the computer speakers don't work anymore. my computer says that they are working. I went to my volume bar/volume mixer yet I can't seem to get the problem. Now everytime I want to hear something I need to plug in my earphones and put them around my head it gets really annoying sometimes. PLEASE HELP!

I'm assuming the speakers are built into the monitor? Check for a loose cable
Also open Device Manager, Click on the +'s and look for any yellow exclamation points and tell us if you have any and what device they're by
What is the make and model of your computer?

What is the make and model of the computer? If there's a service tag number on the back, include that too
