I was receiving a constant error message regarding bcmwltry.exe. So I removed these programs and the recent Norton and Malware downloads-as suggested. I restored only he bcmwltry.exe files. The error message has stopped, and all seems well. But it won't connect to the internet. It always says it is "connecting..."

bcmwltry.exe is only for broadcom chipset based wireless cards and network drivers. If you are using an Intel Card, then bcmwltry.exe will not work with it. Intel PROSet is the driver suite for Intel Network Interface Cards.

Also go to services.msc and disabled Wireless Zero-Config, and use Intel ProSET to manage your wireless connections.
