Hi all hope someone can help,

Ok, my computer crashed and I archived my outlook folders/files to a CD. Now that the computer is fixed i want those emails back. I have followed the directions in the help file in outlook but when i try to import the file from the CD it returns an error message ''File access is denied and you do not have the permission required to access the file E:\archive.pst contact your system administrator'. Well I am the administrator and what the?
So I tried coping and pasting the file to my hard drive, and importing it from there. It seemed to work but it only imports the folders I had and not the emails that were in the folders arrh which is what I really need the most!
I contacted Mircosoft support and have got a complete run around with them was a waste of time so I am hoping and praying that someone can tell me that I can retrieve these emails and not just the folders.
I am using Outlook 2003 SP3.

Also can anyone recommend a good email recovery program, preferably FREE that I can d/load and give a try!!
