I had a new HD installed, after using the Sony recovery disk, Giga Pocket is giving these 2 errors GP666 Cannot launch GP because GP database might be damaged. And RAMN 3256 GP might be broken. How can I reinstall this so it will work or get it repaired thru a Sony DL? Thanks in Advance

Please Help

This worked for one person

The answer is rename/delete the D:\GigaPocket directory and restart GigaPocket. It will regenerate the directory

Sorry, I don't even know what Giga Pocket is...let alone be able to tell you anything about it.

I'm good at finding links, that's about it .

I tried that & I get this Error Cannot rename giga pocket: It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file & try again. How do I find out what is using this file?

It might be running at startup. Does it show in the System tray, in the lower right-hand corner? If yes, right-click on it and close it, or you could try doing it in Safemode
