Hey all,

Turned Laptop on this AM (Inspiron 5150) and was browsing when my mouse cursor and a third of my screen turned into scrambled rectangles. Decided to reboot and got repetitive white, blue, red, green screens (full screen basic color cycling). Tried a few more reboots and now I get black background with evenly spaced white spots across the screen. No apparent evidence that Windows is loading/starting. My fear is the video card has gone south. Any comments are welcome.

Well, if there's another monitor around, you can hook up to that and see if it works. You can also take it apart and reseat the card. At least it's replacable

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
