I have set up a home web server. I plan to host websites on it for a small charge. My current web address is jh.slugabed.org:8000
I need to use Port 8000 because Telus (ISP) blocks Port 80.

Anyway, is there a way to strip the ":8000" from the name but still use port 8000? Maybe a site like freedomain.co.nr? Would that fix the problem?

I need help fast!

Thanks all

Do you own slugabed or are you just a subdomain?
If you are a subdomain you will need to contact your
Admin and have him create a redirect for you.
