My problems started with the installation of PC Pitstop Optmizer 2.0. Some programs wouldn't open, so I tried to reinstall them and do a restart. :flowers: I then got the "Error loading operating system" I thought I could do a restore, but when I put the OEM XP system disk in I still could not open even that. I have verified my Bios is reading my hard disk. I don't know where to turn now, do I have to format my hard drive? Or would it be better to get another HD and load the XP on it and make my old HD a slave and then I could still see my programs and info. Anybody that has any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Chuck

My Bios says the order is CH2 M. : Hitachi HDS7216....... So I guess it is. I have checked quite a few times.
