I did a clean install on this system a month ago and it's possible the outlook.pst file was infected with the Email-Worm.Win32.Beloy.a and nothing found it. Or, it could have shown up in the last month. Kapersky online scanner found that infection in a scan last night.

I ran Spybot S&D today and it looked clean.

However, when I went into the registry and looked at what was running on start up, DLBXCATS and a couple of other things showed with which I'm not familiar. I think the DLBXCATS indicates a Trogan, but I only found it while I was looking in the registry. Avg, Adaware and Spybot all missed it.

So, I'd really appreciate some help. i thought about running a couple of programs I saw suggested with regard to the Trogan, but since there may be other things, I thought it best to get some help first.

Here is the hjt log I've just run.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I apologize for the very long delay. We have a huge backlog of HijackThis Logs to handle and it has been taking us greater time than normal to get caught up. If you are still having a problem, and want us to analyze your information, please reply to this topic stating that you still need help and I will work with you on resolving your computer problems. If your problem has been resolved, please post a reply letting us know so we can close your topic.

Unfortunately, if I do not hear back from you within 5 days, I will be forced to close your topic. If you still need help after I have closed your topic, feel free to create a new one.

Once again, I apologize for the delay in responding to this topic.

Hi Lawrence.

No sweat, I've noticed the last few weeks there seems to have been an upswing with folks getting slammed with viruses and malware. Sadly, it seems those rogue anti-viruses have really hit their stride!

I've been checking daily with the hope of signing up for the HJT training, but I guess there are hundreds (thousands) of others who have hope for the same thing.

Anyway, I do still have the problem, but i've just sort of ignored it mostly... the system still runs slowly.

I found several references to DLBXCATS and it may have something to do with a Dell timing(?), but this computer isn't a dell.

Anyway, thanks for any advice you can give me. I'm afraid to do anything because the outlook.pst file is pretty important.

Thanks

Do you have a Dell Photo AIO Printer 962 printer as the dlbxmon.exe states that you have that driver installed.

Nothing is jumping out at me as being malware in your log.
