Hi there!
My computer is infected with xp antivirus 2008. I have gotten rid of most of it... I think. I've got my wallpaper & screensaver back. My task bar disappears, but if I right click and go to toolbars, and just select one the task bar comes back. When it does come back, it is small and grey, even if you right click and select Start menu rather than Classic. I have no internet connection, my network connections folder is empty. A box pops up that says "the network connections folder was unable to retrieve the list of network adapters on your machine. please make sure that the network connections service is enabled and running." The infected computer is a laptop that recieves a wireless connection from the main desktop that has Roadrunner. Search does not work. Also, I can't move icons around on my desktop nor can I move files to a flash drive. So moving everything to a flash drive and then reformatting is out of the question. When my computer starts up a box pops up and says "Wireless Configuration Notification dll has not benn registered, program will not work correctly." If it matters the infected computer is a Gateway with Windows XP.

Here is the HiJackThis Log:
