hello bleepingcomputer :flowers:
you comunity is great, and it helped me many times
but today i'm having problems with my friends pc and i decided to register and ask for help...
computer was infected with sality virus,i reformated system drive and made fresh install of microsoft windows, before that, i copied all the important documents to
D:\ drive. . . so i reinstalled windows and hoped that it ended, but when i tried to access copied folder on D: drive, folder seemed not to respond, pc not even booted in safe mode.
i used trendmicro system cleaner with my windows PE (live cd) , but cmd window didn't popup and it was stuck on scanning local disc D, so i stopped it.
i've read that this problem occures when using PE windows, and it's caused by several things, mostly because of vscantm process, it was sayd that system cleaner would run if i start it agayn, but i didn't try that. . .
so any advices,
wil trendmicro sysclean fully disinfect pc from sality virus?
any help please?
sorry for my english :trumpet:
