Windows Xp Recovery Console Problem

Hi, Today i tried installing the Xp Recovery console. But every time it pops out "Setup was unable to read from or write to drive C. If a virus scanner is running, disable it then restart setup

I have Disabled my firewall and antivirus already but still the error pops out. Kindly provide a solution

The installation did not complete correctly.
It is possible that Windows xp startup files in the root directory were missing or in use. Please close all the applications that might be using those files.

There is a problem accessing your C: drive - is this your hard drive? Have you tested it to ensure that it's not dying? You can download a bootable diagnostic from the hard drive manufacturer's website (a list of the more common ones is here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/28744/hard-drive-installation-and-diagnostic-tools/ )
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Yes that is my Hard drive. I have two hard drives one of 80 and other of 120 GB. How can you say my HDD are dying?

If Setup cannot read/write from drive C - there's either a problem with Setup or there's a problem with your hard drive. The second post that you made supports this conclusion.

A bootable diagnostic from the manufacturer of your hard drive will confirm or deny this.
