I am trying to solve an IPSec Problem;

Event Type: Failure Audit
Event ID: 615

Compaq Presario 4403US
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Version: 5.1.2600
Service Pack: 2.0

I went to ;
IPsec troubleshooting in Microsoft Windows 2000 Server

and checked my server and see this;
General Computer Info
System Name: CPQ24444294201
Time Zone: Eastern Standard Time
Connection: Workstation (standalone)
Proxy Server: None
IP Address:
IPX Address: Not Enabled

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what this might mean concerning my system capabilities ?

I am thinking this may be the reason for multiple unsolvable problems,

1. I want to upgrade to WXPSP3, and cant do it.

2. I want to install Windows Live One Care Security software and can't do it.

3. I can not install most of the freeware anti-virus and malware, therefore can not do a HJT Log to post.

4. I am having a problem with the, " IPSec monitor snap-in ", and can find an easy step by step instruction to the diagnostics.

I have successfully upgraded to FF-3, don't know if this will change anything, but, . . .

I would like to know what the story is with, Proxy Server: None ?
