I have updates dating back 13/5/07. Can they be removed without 'jeopardizing' current security? Like, as soon as I update, the last one can be removed? And so on? Saves space as well. It is not my default browser but just wandering. Thanking you in advance.

I don't think you should remove them, they are there for a reason.

Hi beetah,

The Weatherman is right. These security updates are patching vulnerabilities in your operating system. Removing any of them leaves you susceptible to malware which Microsoft have tagged and fixed to make your PC safer. The most current update doesn't necessarily have information that previous updates have included so you can't remove the most old based on that as you have suggested.
