Hi metalslugs, and welcome to BleepingComputer.

Have you configured the BIOS to automatically recognize the SATA drive?

Did you install the drivers?

You have probably already done this a couple of times, but go back over all of your connections and make sure that they are secure and that you haven't forgotten any of them. Did you connect the four pin CPU power connector to the motherboard?

Yes I did check everything twice, turns out the sata was in the wrong port. Now I am having problems with the card and the mobo integrated audio. If I plug in my speakers, the comp wont start up. I plugged it in while it was on and it worked for about 20 min, then the comp shut down by itself. It would power up for a split second then cut off. Finally after 10 min, it started again, without the audio. I dont think it is my psu as i bought a 700w psu for the card. SO frustrating!!!
