Well I really hope someone can help... I did all the adware and spybot stuff and got real frustrated and someone suggested putting in system restore.
I put in the restore disk (emachines T2824) and choose the advanced option/non-destructive system recovery. The guide claimed it would create backup prior to installing new (clean) operating system, which it did. However the backup file is there but can't figure it out, when i try to restore any backup stuff it informs me can't access or not available.
To make things even worse, thinking i would find something i screwedup in the process i attempted to view the system restor info and it actually ended up doing a second restore. Wooo is me.. I am including the hyjack log, but im of course running on the second restore with a backup with the origanal backup in it that can not figure how to access and get stuff out of.. Got a lot of stuff really do NEED to access. HELP>>>I don't know how to read log either....

Really nothing bad here. Are you having any performance issues?

You can fix these just for clean up purposes:

Thanks Grinler,

Figured there not any problems to speak of with the new system restore. Real problem cause i did a real bad thing being frust rated and not knowing about this great place.

Can you point me in the right derection to perhaps find out how to get all the important info that is in the backup i can't seem to access or get to the backup info after system restore.

Sure hope that you may be able to help. this is the latest hijackthis log...

Hi. Please download and install the program Registry Lite from here:

http://www.resplendence.com/reglite

Once it is installed, please double click on the icon that should now be on your desktop. If an icon is not there, then check under programs portion of the Start Menu.

Once it is opened, copy and paste the below line, into the address field of Registrar Lite.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects

And press enter. You will now be presented with new information in the bottom right and left sections and on the right section.

Right click on {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} and delete it.

Do the same for {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3}

As for the system restore, you cant access those backups directly. I am not exactly sure what you are trying to do
