Several times a day I sign in on my ISP website. Sometimes Security Information box pops up, sometimes it doesn't. No rhyme or reason as to when it occurs.

It's annoying. Is there any way to disable the security warning? I'm at the point now where I yell at it, OF COURSE I WANT TO, SO STOP ASKING ME THAT!!!!!
(I feel the same way about being told "you are entering safe mode, are you sure that's where you want to be")

Thank you M. Security is not one of my concerns, since it has never asked on any other site I sign into. It only started happening recently-about a month ago. Up until then, I was never given the warning. I'll try the fix, and see what happens. Hopefully I won't see it anymore.

It's likely to be a problem with the Comcast website - but if you disable the warning it'll disable it for all websites (and that may not be a good thing).

I've seen this most commonly on webpages that have logins. I assume it's an attempt to put the secure stuff right on the same page with the login box - so it's a security feature that is, IMO, desirable.

Does this happen when you try to login from the main http://www.comcast.net page? How about from the http://www.comcast.com page?
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Yes usasma it did. There's more than one way to get to the sign in box for the Comcast help forums, and I got the warning no matter what path I took to get to log in.
Right now, I'll leave it disabled, because as I mentioned, no other site gave me the warning.

And if it turns out to be bad decision, then I'll have to deal with the consequences of that decision.
